Mount Sinai Hospital serves as home to the Ontario Fetal Centre (OFC) - a joint initiative between Mount Sinai and The Hospital for Sick Children. The OFC is the first and one of only a few centres worldwide to offer a fully comprehensive range of fetal therapy. Backed by donor generosity, the OFC encourages cross-discipline collaboration and combines expertise from other hospitals to provide cutting-edge in-utero medical and surgical therapies and interventions.

A century ago, we opened our doors after a group of women went door-to-door to raise enough money for a hospital where everyone was welcome. Today, thanks to the generosity of our donor community, we’ve grown to become one of North America’s pre-eminent medical, educational and research institutions. As we continue to provide compassionate care for patients in the GTA and beyond, the inextinguishable spirit of our founders lives on.
