Sinai Health’s Frances Bloomberg Centre for Women’s and Infants’ Health is home to Canada’s most comprehensive obstetrics and gynaecology program, providing a full continuum of care: from starting a family, through routine and high-risk pregnancy care, to general gynaecology and mature women’s health.

Supporting Sinai Health will help fund the exceptional research spearheaded by their nationally leading clinician-scientists, conducting crucial studies touching on a broad spectrum of issues, including fertility and assisted reproduction, fetal and maternal health during pregnancy, newborn health, and the lifelong health needs of women.

One of these exceptional individuals is Dr. Amanda Selk. She is an extremely talented and reputable physician, and also a dedicated educator, supervising multiple medical students and resident research projects in the largest undergraduate and postgraduate obstetrical training program in Canada. Dr. Selk’s research interests include patient education, health literacy and needs assessments in obstetrics, colposcopy, and vulvovaginal disease.
