While high-risk obstetrics patients do not need to occupy a hospital bed, they need to be within 20 minutes of the hospital during their care. Mount Sinai Hospital is the largest high-risk referral centre for the province and international patients in need of high-risk and complex obstetric care. Donations made support the needs of these patients by donating to cover their accommodations, thereby allowing them to be in close proximity to the care they need. Accommodation for patients is about $100/day. 

Donations to cover a night's stay are eligible for a tax receipt which will be sent post event.
