Sinai Health Foundation is inviting all sons, daughters and grateful hearts to nominate the mother figure in their life to receive the ultimate gift basket that’s all about self-care and celebrating their love.
As home to the busiest labour and delivery ward in Canada, Sinai Health welcomes more than 7,000 babies each year. We’re proud of helping to create so many families, and continue to be in awe of the work mothers and mother figures are doing to help their families in every way.
Being a mother can be the world’s most rewarding job, but also the toughest. And living in a global pandemic has made it even harder. But through it all juggling working and schooling form home mothers and mother figures have persevered.
“Parents and families around the world have been hit hard by the COVID-19 pandemic over the past year,” said Dr. Ariel Dalfen, a psychiatrist at Mount Sinai Hospital who provides care for adults during pregnancy and the postpartum period. “It is so essential that people continue to pay attention to their mental health and to reach out for expert mental healthcare if they feel they are struggling. It is also important for parents to continue to stay connected to their support networks, even at times where it feels like connecting is challenging.”
We invite people to nominate a mother or mother figure your hero as a celebration of their amazing contributions. One lucky person’s name will be drawn at random to win a pampering, self-care gift basket.
The grand prize includes:
Sinai Health Foundation welcomes nominations of any person who plays a ‘mothering’ role, regardless of gender or gender identification. For more information on how to enter, please visit supportsinai.ca/mothersday. The giveaway is open to all residents of Ontario. Contest ends May 6th at 3 p.m.
