7 a.m. - 6 p.m.

Tune in to Fairchild Radio (AM 1430) on Thursday, June 8 from 7 a.m. until 6 p.m. to hear inspirational stories from patients, caregivers, doctors, nurses and social workers about the exceptional care provided by Sinai Health, and our special relationship with Chinese communities across the GTA.

Now in its 5th year, Sinai Health Radiothon aims to raise $250,000, bringing the event’s cumulative giving total to nearly $1 million. Your continued support ensures that Sinai Health can provide the best possible care to every patient and caregiver who walks through our doors.

In 2023, funds raised will be directed toward the hospital’s greatest needs - including supporting the mental health of the Chinese community, responding to the COVID-19 pandemic, and delivering personalized treatment for people with cancer, chronic disease or the diseases of aging.

Donate today to help Sinai Health advance the future of care.

Mount Sinai 100

Celebrate Mount Sinai Hospital's 100th anniversary.

A century ago, Mount Sinai Hospital opened its doors after a group of Jewish women went door-to-door to raise money for a hospital that would elevate the standard of care. One hundred years later, their spirit of generosity and inclusivity remains a key pillar in Sinai Health’s mission.

Since becoming the first Toronto hospital to open its doors to Chinese patients, Sinai Health has always been at the forefront of supporting the Chinese community across the GTA. In the 1970s, Mount Sinai Hospital began the largest and most comprehensive outreach program for a specific cultural group in Toronto, integrating culturally sensitive care for the Chinese community into many hospital programs.

Today, specialized support for the Chinese community continues with bilingual resources offered throughout the hospital. There are also dedicated programs to assist Chinese patients transitioning home from following discharge, and comprehensive community-based mental health services designed for Cantonese and Mandarin speakers.
