Official Contest Rules

2025 Da Vinci Surgical Robot Tour Contest

1. Contest Period

The contest begins on January 19, 2025 and ends on March 31, 2025.

2. Eligibility

Open to legal residents of Ontario who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. No donation or purchase is necessary to enter. Winners are responsible for their own transportation to Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto.

3. How to Enter

Eligible individuals may enter the contest by completing a separate entry form, which will request the entrant’s name, email address, and consent to be contacted by Sinai Health Foundation. Only one entry per person is permitted.

4. Prize

Ten (10) winners will receive a guided tour of the Da Vinci Surgical Robot at Mount Sinai Hospital.

No monetary value is associated with the prize.
The prize is non-transferable and must be accepted as awarded.
No cash or other substitutions will be provided.
The prize is valid for the winner only; no guests are permitted.
Participation in the tour is subject to hospital policies; minors are not permitted.
Winners may need to sign a waiver of liability; refusal may result in forfeiture of the prize.
Winners must follow all hospital safety protocols.

5. Winner Selection

A random draw will be conducted by April 10, 2025, from all eligible entries received during the contest period. The odds of winning will be dependent upon the number of entries accepted. Winners will be contacted via the email provided on the entry form.

6. Use of Personal Information

By entering, participants agree to be contacted by Sinai Health Foundation and to receive marketing communications. Personal information collected will be used for contest administration and to share updates, fundraising opportunities, and other communications from Sinai Health Foundation. Participants may unsubscribe at any time. 7. Legal Risks & Liability

By entering, participants accept the Official Conest Rules and Regulations as condition of participation and eligibility to win. Sinai Health Foundation and Mount Sinai Hospital are not responsible for any personal injury, accident, or loss incurred during transportation to or from the hospital, or during the tour itself.

The donor-funded da Vinci Xi robot is transforming surgery at Sinai Health. Now used by all three colorectal surgeons, it makes highly complex procedures less invasive for patients with IBD and other conditions. Last year alone, they completed 30 robotic-assisted surgeries - and plan to double that number in the year ahead.
