Sinai Health provides world-class care to over 7,000 mothers and babies each year. Over two-thirds of the pregnancies we care for are high risk.


This year is Mount Sinai Hospital’s centennial anniversary. Our doors first opened in 1923 thanks to four courageous women who had a vision for a hospital which provided a safe space for women in the Jewish immigrant community to give birth. Today, we care for some of the most fragile babies in the country.
