Meet the 2024 Winners

With almost 40 years of continuous support of Sinai Health in various roles, Brent’s unwavering generosity with his time, network, resources and vision has made him a pillar of our philanthropic community. His commitment to service, including as the Immediate Past Chair of the Sinai Health Board of Directors, inspires action in those around him.

Embodying the spirit of the pioneering women who founded Mount Sinai Hospital, Maxine is steadfast in her dedication to advancing healthcare and enhancing patient outcomes through committee work, fundraising events, and her own philanthropy. From past tenure as Co-Chair of the Sinai Health Foundation Board to her current efforts championing fundraising for the Centre for Mature Women’s Health, her leadership, expertise, and generosity have made a mark on Sinai Health that will resonate for generations.

Since Stacey was diagnosed with Crohn's Disease and started receiving care at Mount Sinai Hospital, she and her husband Jonathan have become tireless advocates for individuals living with Inflammatory Bowel Disease. The community fundraising event they started, Spin for Sinai, has generated substantial support for IBD research and care and has advanced treatment for those affected by the disease. Jonathan also serves as Vice-Chair at Large on Sinai Health Foundation’s Board of Directors and was just recently appointed as director of the Sinai Health Board of Directors.

Inspired after their son Jonathan was diagnosed neurofibromatosis type 1 (NF1) as a baby, Claire and Craig started a family-friendly dodgeball tournament called Duck & Dodge for NF1 in 2019. Through their leadership the event has raised over $500,000 since the event began. They plan to continue the event annually, supporting NF1 research at the LTRI so that they can fuel breakthrough discoveries in the treatment and prevention of NF1.
